PROFILE:
Jean-Pierre Gallo Pardo was educated at the University of Santo Tomas, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts major in Advertising Arts, with units from U. S. T. Graduate School. She finished Basic and Advance Dressmaking, and received gold medals for it. Jean-Pierre also took Basic Personality Development in John Robert Powers.
Way back in college, she designed and handcrafted the accessories for U. S. T. Siglo Fashion Show held at the U. S. T. Grounds. This ignited her to join the Smirnoff Mule Fashion Awards of 1999 where she presented a clothing collection in a fashion show held at the Siete Pecados of the Westin Philippine Plaza. Jean-Pierre produced and organized two fashion shows, created three clothing collections, two websites and two catalogs. She also co-presented a fashion show at Bedrock Bar and Grill-Tomas Morato entitled A FORTIORI: FASHION MEETS REASON with the University of the Philippines Manila-Junior Marketing Association (UPJMA) in November 2005.
Jean-Pierre became a juror at University of Santo Tomas for the College of Fine Arts’ Thesis defense for Fashion Designing last February 2006. She also participated in UST: 4th Centennial Logo Making Contest. She was once a probationary member of Young Designers Guild. She was also affiliated with San Roque de Sampaloc Parish. She is also with St. Anthony Shrine as a Lector/ Commentator. Professionally, Jean-Pierre is also a stylist, make-up artist, event host and scriptwriter.
